Our history dates back to January 20, 2007 when our foundation President, Taylor,  was first diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (Pre-B). Leukemia treatment can be a long process.  In Taylor's case, it was 27 months of chemotherapy, inpatient and outpatient procedures.  F.L.A. stands for "Faith, Love, and Applesauce"- the three things that helped Taylor get through her 27 months of treatment. As she got older she decided she wanted to use her voice to speak out and raise awareness for families impacted by pediatric blood cancers. Not only did she want to raise awareness, she also wanted to provide support for these families- to let them know they are not alone as they navigate this journey. And with those ideas in mind-  the F.L.A. Foundation was born.
